Chimpanzee Bars power Circumnavigation challenge !
The Challenge is to sail from Plymouth, England, at the end of October, 2012, the 28000 miles around the world, non-stop and without outside assistance, to become the oldest British woman, at 61, to do so.
Dawn has a supply of 300 Chimpanzee Bars to aid her on her mission....
Dawn will be sailing her Joshua 40 steel ketch and will follow the Clipper Route, as marked on the map above, which is the way the old sailing ships used to sail out to Australia and back.
Her start is being organised by The Royal Western Yacht Club of England in Plymouth, famous for organising the OSTAR and TWOSTAR ocean races and her timings will be scrutinized by the World Sailing Speed Record Council and The Guinness Book of Records.
